Regional Senior Vice President, Europe and Australia
Based in AFM’s Luxembourg office, Andrew is responsible for the overall operations of AFM’s Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Paris and Sydney offices.
Prior to being appointed to his current role in 2020, Andrew served as the client service manager for FM Global’s operations in Australia and New Zealand, where he led underwriting, client service and client relationship efforts. He also held various other roles at FM Global within the underwriting, engineering and training functions in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. He joined the FM Global Group in 1994 as a consultant engineer.
Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia, and a graduate diploma in business administration from Mt Eliza Business School, Victoria, Australia.

Vice President, Director, Australia and New Zealand
Based in Sydney, Australia, Simon is responsible for the growth and profitability of the Australia and New Zealand portfolio of AFM.
Simon joined AFM in 2010 as a production underwriter and opened the Melbourne office shortly after. In 2016, Simon was appointed director of AFM’s Australia and New Zealand operations. Prior to joining AFM, Simon had 20 years’ insurance experience in both property underwriting and business development management roles in the southern states of Australia.
Simon is a self-confessed Golf Tourist, enjoying the links on as many continents as possible and a regular attendee at the Open Championship. A long-suffering Western Bulldogs member, he rejoiced in the 2016 AFL Premiership, which they managed to win after a 62-year wait and following an unbelievable month of football. He also has a passion for renewable energy projects and electric vehicles.
