Appointed in January 2009, Michael Lebovitz is senior vice president and manager of Affiliated FM, a wholly owned subsidiary of FM Global. In this role, Lebovitz oversees all operations of Affiliated FM, including 12 offices in the United States, two in Canada, and one each in Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. He is based in Johnston, R.I., USA.
Previously, Lebovitz had served as vice president and manager, Affiliated FM, as well as its operations vice president and area manager for Southern operations since 1998, after serving three years as district manager for the company's Atlanta operation. Prior to that, Lebovitz held a number of positions at FM Global in engineering, underwriting and sales. He joined the FM Global organization in 1985 as a loss prevention consultant.
Lebovitz holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
David Mackin is vice president, regional manager, for Affiliated FM operations. Based in the company’s Park Ridge, Ill., USA, office, Mackin is responsible for overseeing the servicing and development of the entire book of business for Affiliated FM’s Chicago, Ill.; Cleveland, Ohio; Los Angeles, Calif.; Portland, Ore.; Seattle, Wash.; and San Francisco, Calif.; offices in the USA and the Sydney, Australia office.
Appointed to his current position in 2005, Mackin previously served as an area
manager, district manager, production underwriter and account engineer for
Affiliated FM. He joined the company in 1981 as a loss prevention consultant.
Mackin received a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the
University of California, Santa Barbara, Calif., USA.
Glen is operations vice president, director of Affiliated FM’s Australian operations. Based in the company’s Sydney, Australia office, Glen is responsible for operations and client servicing in the Australia and New Zealand territory. In this role, Glen manages a team of underwriters, engineers and administrative staff that targets middle market commercial and industrial property accounts.
Appointed to his current position in 2010, Glen has spent over 15 years in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Affiliated FM he had worked in a variety of roles within the industry, primarily in property underwriting, business development and overall management of those functions. He joined Affiliated FM in 2008 as a production underwriter. Glen was part of the key team that has developed the Australian operation of Affiliated FM into one of the company’s most successful operations worldwide, through bringing new and innovative commercial property products to a traditional insurance market.
Glen is a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance. He holds a Master of Business Administration and Graduate Diploma of Financial Services, both from Deakin University, Australia.
